Spas & Hot Tubs By The Spa Specialist
The Glenwood spa is 83" by 83" by 36" tall. This is a good size for an average family. There are 6 seating positions, with one very comfortable lounge seat.

The Spa is available in three levels of features. The Standard model is shown with a 2.5 continuous horsepower (4 BHP ) large frame pump, 20 water jets, A 2 PHP air pump,18 air jets. This is a great spa value! The standard engineering features on all Haven spas that make them outstanding values are present on the Glenwood model. The outer cabinet is beautiful redwood, stained with the best brand of stain that we know of. The entire inside frame is built from 2x4 structural wood and pressure treated lumber. The insulation is fully thermo-sealed and extremely quiet and exceptionally energy efficient.

This is the Glenwood main "hot seat" There are 11 jets involved in this seat, including two above water fully adjustable neck jets, two cyclone adjustable jets two medium adjustable spinner jets, two medium sized bullet style jets, and three air jets with two directly on your back. The seat is designed to cradle your body in a comfortable position, so when the jets are on full, you do not have to grasp at spa parts to keep from being ejected from the seat. The seat arm rests works as a holding fixture to keep you comfortably in place. The jet recesses allow full therapy without protruding into your back. The seat is quite comfortable. The two above water neck jets are the icing on the cake. Having the fully adjustable jets aligned and aimed slightly downward on your small muscles is just great! The two cyclone jets are the most innovative jets around. Not only are they fully adjustable for pressure, the amount of swirling action can be adjusted to suit your needs. Because of the power in our spas, the jets can be adjusted to lower or raise the pressure on different parts of your body and they can be intensified for the lower, lumbar area. Like all of our spas you can customize the pressure exactly how you want it.

This seat is called the tension spot hot seat. The tension spot jets are like fingers pressing into the tension spots in your back. If you sit really close, the pressure is more pointed. If you lean forward, the jets feel like soft fingers rubbing the tension out of your back. This jet pattern is just wonderful to sit in front of. This seat feels great! Notice the large "suction fitting" on the lower left of the picture. These fittings are standard on our spas. By allowing full flow into the spa pump, we have full pressure on the jets. Any restriction on the suction side, severely retards the jet pressure. The light and thermostat probe are shown in the right side "wall" of the spa. The light is at the proper height for the greatest amount of illumination, and ease of bulb replacement. The bulb can be replaced by simply opening the access panel and changing the bulb. This is a well thought out feature. If you have ever tried to change a bulb that is down in the foot well, you can really appreciate this feature. By having the light higher in the spa, it illuminates much better! The spa has the non rusting clear hand rail, to help moving about the spa and getting in or out.

The lounge seat is well designed and even has an arm rest that also gives you something to hold on to while moving from the lounge to other seats. This seat has a head cushion that is firmly attached to the shell. There are eight jets involved in this seat; two fully adjustable cyclone jets, one tension spot jet, one medium foot jet, and four air jets. There are plenty of air jets throughout the spa to gently pulsate up your back, and on your legs. the lounge has elevated legs, helping to keep you from floating. By not laying your torso back too far, and elevating your legs, the floatation is minimized. At the end of the lounger is a good sized adjustable foot jet. Notice the foot jet in the foot well at the bottom and side of the base of the lounge seat; nice!

This photo shows the foot of the lounge seat, the filter area and the large foot well. There is a "bottom drain" feature in all of our spas. In other spas, the last inch or two of water has to be vacuumed out of the spa; not so in the Haven spas. Notice the seat with the four air jets, and the one tension spot jet. This seat feels just great! The bubbles pulsate up your back and give a great gentle massage. Now go back an look at all the flat area on the upper lip of the spa shell. Like all or the Haven spas, the top of the spa is great for sitting cups and for serving drinks. We have found this feature is just wonderful. You do not need a tray to hold drinks.
